The North Putnam High School athletic awards banquet has been postponed until Tuesday, March 12. It was previously scheduled for tonight. Due to weather concerns the banquet will now be held next week at 6:30 p.m.

Richard Dean Thompson, 69, Cloverdale, passed away on March 3, 2013 at the Richard L. Roudebush Medical Center, Indianapolis. He was born on Nov. 20, 1943 in Indianapolis and was the son of the late Clifford Earl and Nora Ida (Rooker) Thompson. He married Karon A. (Lange) Thompson on Sept. 16, 1967, and she survives...

Tonight's middle school swim meet at South Putnam has been cancelled due to weather.
