Police say man died of natural causes

CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale Police Department responded Wednesday night to a home in the Stardust Hills subdivision on a report of an unconscious man who turned out to be deceased.

Police Chief Don Pearson said the coroner was called to the scene to assess the 84-year-old man's body and determined the cause of death to be natural.

The coroner released the man's body to the funeral home. Pearson concluded at the scene shortly before 11 p.m.
