Cougars fall short

The North Putnam girls' basketball team fell to Tri-West 53-41 Tuesday, moving to 3-5 on the season.

Elsiana Crosby and Taylor Alles led the way with 12 points each, with Carlye McGaughey adding nine, Leah Crosby six and Shilah Kumaran three.

Alles also led the team in rebounding with 10 and Leah Crosby added eight of her own.

The Cougars will travel to North Vermillion at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
