Second Ward hosts meeting

GREENCASTLE -- At 6:30 p.m. Aug. 13, the city of Greencastle and Councilor Mark Hammer will host the Community Forward Second Ward Neighborhood Meeting at Deer Meadow School, located at 1000 Deer Meadow Lane in Greencastle.

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss progress made since the 2008 Community Summit and to survey Second Ward residents on the health, safety and quality of life in their neighborhoods. The objective of the meeting will be to establish priorities and projects for the Second Ward.

All residents are welcome. Meetings will be held in all council wards -- meetings to be announced. For information, contact City Planner Shannon Norman at 653-7719.
