Norman 'Scott' Frost

Norman "Scott" Frost, age 66, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Putnam County Hospital.

Born Aug. 16, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa, he was the son of Norman A. and Thyra (Lucart) Frost, and was a 1963 graduate of Greencastle High School.

He married Memory (Kendall) Frost on April 1, 1966 in Manhattan, Ind., by Rev. Philip Badger, and she survives.

Scott had worked at Mallory's from 1966 until 1971; Oxford Automotive (Greencastle Manufacturing) from 1971 to 2005; and retired from Acuity Lighting in Crawfordsville in August 2011.

He enjoyed fishing, flower gardening, bird watching and spending time with his family and his pets.

Survivors include his wife, Memory Frost; his mother; daughters Ginger Tyler of Brazil and Laura Frost of Reelsville; son Colin (Kathy) Frost of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Aidan and Mae Tyler, and Megan Frost; two brothers, John (Linda) Frost and David (Debbie) Frost of Greencastle; and two sisters, Becky (Bill) Wallace of Reelsville, and Debbie Cox of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Linda Fay Frost; and two brothers, Greg and Jim Frost.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor William Best officiating. Interment will follow services at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1.
