Nancy K. Haltom
Nancy K. Haltom, 75, of Danville, Ky. and formerly of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 in Harrodsburg, Ky.
She was born on Feb. 23, 1937 in Greencastle and was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Reynolds) Feld.
She married Jack R. Haltom on Aug. 11, 1957 and he survives. She is also survived by her children, Julie E. Salem of Glendale, AZ, Matthew V. Haltom of Lexington, Ky., Scott A. Haltom of Louisville, Ky., Christopher A. Haltom of Green Bay, Wis., Walter W. Haltom of Malad, Idaho and Joseph F. Haltom of Danville, Ky.; sisters Jean Callahan of Helena, Mont., and Winaford Fredrick of Greencastle; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Danville, Ky., and a former member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle. She was a homemaker and had attended Sulvin University.
She had been employed at Angwell Curtain Factory, Horace Link and Dr. Finkbinder, all of Greencastle, and also was a listed real estate agent and hospital registration clerk.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 6, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 5 from 4-8 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Angela Dickson, Rosie Covert and Joan Neff and her brother, Allan Feld and Raymond Feld.
