Bainbridge hosts self-defense class for women

BAINBRIDGE -- A free, two-night self-defense class hosted by the Bainbridge Police Department will help inform women how to protect themselves in the event of an attack.
The class is set for Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Bainbridge Community Center.
The focus of the course will be on basic defense and how to escape from an attacker.
Wednesday's session is set for 7-8:30 p.m., while Thursday will run from 6-7:30 p.m.
Interested women may sign up at North Putnam High School or by calling the Bainbridge Town Hall at 522-6238.
