DCS and jumpstART to host semester art show Saturday

DePauw University along with jumpstART will be hosting its semester art show on Saturday, May 4 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the DePauw University Peeler Arts Center.

The program, jumpsART, is for the Putnam County youth grades K-5 and takes place every Saturday of every month from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Each Saturday has a different focus such as photography, cave art and more.

JumpstArt is a DePauw University Community Service (DCS) program and aims to connect children to different types of art movements, styles and artists in a fun and engaging way. All programs are staffed by a DCS coordinator and a team of student volunteers.

Interested participants can sign up at any time by registering the date of the program.

The DePauw University Peeler Arts Center is located at 10 W. Hanna St. Participants are to enter through the front door to register.
