GCSC to participate in Summer Food Service Program

The Greencastle School Corporation recently announced plants to participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under as well as persons over 18 years who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally and physically disabled.

All free meals provided to all children will be the same. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be served at Ridpath Primary School cafeteria, beginning Tuesday, May 28 through Friday, July 26. Breakfast will run from 8-9:15 a.m. with lunch from 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Meals will also be served at Greencastle High School cafeteria beginning Monday, June 3 through Friday, June 28. Breakfast will be served from 7:15-8:15 a.m. and lunch will run 10:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Ridpath Primary School is located at located at 711 S. Central St. Greencastle High School is located at 910 E. Washington St.
