LaDonna Saul of Jedele Enterprises Inc. has been named the 2012 Outstanding Manager Award for the Terre Haute McDonald's Co-Op.

The Outstanding Restaurant Manager Award is a nationwide honor that recognizes managers from owner/operator and McOpCo restaurants for outstanding performance.

The award recognizes up to 10 percent of the top restaurant managers across the entire U.S. system.

Saul started her career at the Cloverdale McDonald's and worked her way up to assistant manager at the Cloverdale store. She was promoted in 2010 to general manager of the Brazil Pilot McDonald's and her success brought her to the point of being acknowledged as the 2012 Outstanding Store Manager for the Terre Haute Division.

LaDonna has since been transferred to the Cloverdale store, where she got her start, and is now general manager of the Cloverdale McDonald's.

"Jedele Enterprises would like to congratulate LaDonna Saul for the 2012 Outstanding Managers Award and welcome her to the Cloverdale McDonald's," Area Supervisor Bobby D. Hopper said in announcing the honor.

The award is based upon achieving superior results in selected areas of performance. Managers nominated for the award must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence of their excellence in each of three categories, Operational Excellence, Leader in People Management and Building the Business.

Restaurant managers face the daily challenges of satisfying customers, running great restaurants and staffing restaurants with qualified crew.

The level of achievement on a number of measures largely determines whether a nominated manager qualifies for the award.

Each region will identify a regional selection team to be responsible for reviewing nominations and determining which individuals are selected.
