Knitting class being offered May 29 at Senior Center

Pat Coffman will instruct a class for experienced knitters at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 at the Putnam County Senior Center, 9 W. Franklin St., Greencastle.

Participants will construct a ruffled scarf.

Each participant should bring No. 10-11 needles, a needle stopper and a 3.5-ounce (35-yard) skein of Sashay yarn.

An extra day will be available on June 5 if more work on the scarves is needed. Anyone who would like Pat to purchase some yarn may contact the Senior Center two days in advance of the class.

Class size is limited to 10 participants. Persons may call 653-8606 to enroll.

Cost of the class is $5 with additional reimbursement for any yarn purchases.
