Naomi L. Boswell

Naomi L. Boswell, 83, of Brazil, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.

She was born March 13, 1930 to Sherman and Nellie (Luther) Wright.

On Dec. 4, 1949, she married the love of her life, Donald D. Boswell. From their love, a son was born on Aug. 31, 1952, Michael D. Boswell. Their family was complete.

Naomi took great pride in her home. She loved making crafts, sewing, watching her Pacers and writing poetry. She loved to study the Bible and talk about what God was doing in her life.

Many times she tried to help someone who has having problems. Naomi was a prayer warrior. You could always count on her if you needed prayer for something.

Music was a big part of Naomi's life. She and Don sang together. She also sang with her sisters Kay and Elizabeth. Naomi sang at many churches around the area.

Naomi loved to mow her lawn, work in her garden and canned many delicious things. Naomi loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. You could always count on a cup of coffee and a piece of pie or something homemade when you came to visit.

Naomi could always encourage you and lift you up.

Naomi was preceded in death by husband Donald; sisters Hildred Hauser, Ruth Carter and Elizabeth Redenbarger; and brothers Lex Wright and Richard Wright.

She will be sadly missed by her son Michael and close friend Dawn Barger; grandson Andrew Killion and wife Heather; granddaughter Autumn Drake and husband Sean; great-granddaughter Ella Rose; sister Kay Acton; brother Donald Wright; very close friend Phyllis Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at French Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 22 with Pastor Jim Dowers officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. at French Funeral Home on Friday. Burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery, Terre Haute, immediately following the services Saturday.
