Asbury Towers, Senior Center planning Aug. 8 Fair Oaks Farm trip

Following a successful trip to the Symphony on the Prairie, Asbury Towers and the Putnam County Senior Center are offering a trip on Thursday, Aug. 8 to the Fair Oaks Dairy and Pig Adventure for senior citizens of Putnam County.

Fair Oaks, located along I-65 north of Lafayette, is the site of one of the largest dairy farms in the United States.

The tour bus will leave from the Asbury Towers parking lot on Poplar Street at 7:30 a.m. and return to Greencastle around 5:30 p.m.

Cost of the trip is $79 per person and includes motorcoach transportation, admission to the Fair Oaks Dairy Adventure and the Fair Oaks Pig Adventure, a box lunch, tour escort and all gratuities.

Persons may sign up for the trip and pay by July 30 at the main desks of Asbury Towers or the Putnam County Senior Center.
