Kathleen A Reynolds, 73, passed away in New York City at the New York University Hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013.

She was born in Greencastle on May 25, 1940 to the late Dr. Albert E Reynolds and Mary Elizabeth (Utt) Reynolds.

She graduated from Greencastle High School in 1958 and was active in the Greencastle High School Alumni Association.

She also briefly attended DePauw University.

She lived most of her life in New York City. When she retired, she was an assistant commissioner for special projects for the City of New York Real Estate.

Kathleen was very involved in the Liberal Political Party and more recently very involved in United for Action, which supports "anti-fracking" causes. Kathleen is survived by her brother, Scott Reynolds, and his wife Christi Reynolds. She was a loving aunt of Peter A. Reynolds, Carrie A. Reynolds and Jessica M. Reynolds. Adored great aunt of Ethan M. Reynolds and Isabella A. Reynolds. Also survived by Anne, Bud and Katy Schad.

A celebration of her life will be held in Greencastle at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23.

Graveside service for the family will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m.

Additionally, on Sept. 7 a celebration of Kathy's life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a service starting at 1 p.m. at Andrett Funeral Home, located at 353 Second Ave., New York, N.Y.
