Constitution Week

In conjunction to the 226th anniversary of the Constitution of the United States of America Greencastle Mayor Sue Murray (center) proclaimed the week of Sept. 17-23 as Constitution Week. In 1955 the DAR petitioned Congress to set aside the week of Sept. 17-23 annually to be dedicated for the observance of Constitution Week and sticking with tradition, each year the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) celebrate the Constitution.
