Ready to make Christmas a little merrier for 42 local families, members of the Putnam County Sheriff's Department prepare to distribute their annual holiday baskets on Monday afternoon. Those taking part in the distribution included (from left) Col. Tom Helmer, Ashley O'Hair, Tresha Clearwaters, Vova Johnson, Sherrie Fenwick, Sheriff Steve Fenwick, Capt. Gerry Ensor, Capt. Steve Smith and Reserve Deputy Richard Lambert. Donations for the 2013 Holiday Baskets were provided by Putnam County Sheriff's Department Merit Board, Donnelly's, Danny and L. Romell Wrightsman, VanBibber Lake Property Owners, Debbie Seipel, Gerry Ensor and 2013 Haunted Trail Proceeds. Through this generosity, all families nominated for the baskets were served.
