Donald F. 'Don' Detro

Donald F. "Don" Detro, 70, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013.

Don was born on July 20, 1943 in Putnam County to Forest Detro and Opal Abbott Detro.

A 1962 graduate of Bainbridge High School, he was a retired trucking owner/operator and had been employed at Schwerman Trucking Co. in Greencastle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Matthew Detro.

Surviving are his children, Dake Detro and wife Jennifer of Russellville, Dondra (Mike) Zaring of Greencastle, and Ben Detro of Greencastle; two brothers, Danny Detro and wife Jessie of Bainbridge, and Dale Detro of Greencastle; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Private arrangements have been entrusted Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle.
