PCH raises funds with ugly holiday sweater contest

Sunday, January 5, 2014

The Putnam County Hospital Service Pillar conducted an Ugly Holiday Sweater contest to celebrate the holidays and raise funds for the Putnam County Hospital H.O.P.E. project (orchestrated by the PCH People Pillar).

Staff members were encouraged to visit administration and have their picture taken at the photo booth to be entered in the contest on Dec. 13.

The following week, PCH staff took part in a penny war, voting for their favorite ugly sweater. The winners were then announced at a holiday pitch-in luncheon on Friday, Dec. 20.

Jim Whicker, Pharmacy, and Lori Lucas, Marketing, took home the ugly sweater contest trophies.

PCH announced that $276.01 plus a $100 anonymous donation was presented to the People Pillar to kick off its H.O.P.E. funds for 2014.
