GMS grapplers pick up 2 wins

The Greencastle Middle School wrestling team went 2-1 in a Wednesday quad meet, improving its season record to 5-2.

The Tiger Cubs defeated Cascade 93-15 and Monrovia 56-50, while falling to North Clay 66-42.

Cauy Thomas, Damon Moody, Ethan Tuggle and Brayden Bollman were all 3-0 on the evening.

Going 2-1 for Greencastle were Mark Roberts, Will Bolton, Keaton Boswell, Trace Thomas, Jacob Meyer, Jacob Campbell and Cade Winslow.

Wrestlers picking up one win on the night were Nick Sabin, Billy Moss, Hector Lezama, Trey Adams, Braden Lady and Donovan Asbell.

GMS has more than a week off before traveling to the Southmont Invitational on Saturday, March 1.
