Eagle track team meets at Northview for fourway matchup

The South Putnam track team ran a four-way meet Thurday at Northview high school also competing with Owen Valley and Clay City. The boys came in third with a score of 55.5 and the girls finished second with 71 behind Northview's 78.

For the boys South Putnam's Klayton Vittetow got the top spot in the high jump. He was the lone first place winner for the boys with a jump of 5-10. In the field for the girls it was Amanda barnes discus throw of 81-9 that took first place. Also coming in first for South Putnam was the 3200 relay team with a time of 11:37 . In the 100-meter hurdles Ariel Higgins won first with a time of 16.78. The 1600 relay team, with a time of 4:37.69 won first in that event.
