Ridpath to host 4th annual Holiday Bazaar

Ridpath Primary School will host its third annual Ridpath Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 15.

More than 40 local vendors will participate in the event, selling a variety of handmade and direct-sales products.

This year the lineup will again include "Cookies and Canvas " sessions for kids, presented by Dessa Frank.

Beginning painters will create a puppy on an 11 x 14 canvas, during the 9:30 a.m. session. Advanced painters will create a Winter Wonderland scene during the 10:45 a.m. session.

Preregistration is required, and each session is limited to 20 students.A $25 registration fee is due with the registration form.

The Greencastle Parks and Recreation department will also be on hand, with a Lego play area set up for the kids. ark personnel will be registering participants for winter programs and events, including the youth basketball program.

Ridpath's Scholastic Book Fair will be open during the bazaar, offering a variety of children's books, including local author, Troy Cummings' work. Proceeds from the book fair support the Ridpath PTO.

Breakfast and lunch will be catered by Green Olive Catering, and available in the school cafeteria.

Gift wrapping will be offered by the Girl Scouts and On The Flipside Booster Club.

Ridpath Primary is located southeast of the DePauw campus at 711 S. Central Ave., Greencastle. Bazaar hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
