CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale FFA will be holding a seed auction for area farmers to come bid on seed for the next growing season.

The auction will be conducted at 5 p.m. Nov. 25 in the Cloverdale High School cafetorium.

Appetizers and drinks will be served. All buyers will also receive free admission to the first boys' basketball varsity game which will follow at CHS at 7:30 p.m.

All proceeds from the seed auction will be used to help the National Livestock Skill-A-Thon team travel to Denver to compete at the Western Stock Show in January.

A variety of types of seed will be auctioned off, the majority of which are corn and soybeans.

In addition, seed sales from the evening will count as a donation to the Cloverdale FFA for tax planning purposes.
