The project will replace a small structure located nearly three miles west of State Road 75.

Kerns Excavating LLC was awarded the $325,970 contract for work that will close the roadway for 60 days.

The roadway is scheduled to reopen on July 31 of this year.

The detour follows U.S. 231 south to U.S. 40 east to SR 75 north and back to SR 240.
