ParkFest series lineup announced by Civic League

The Greencastle Civic League is inviting the community to the opening of ParkFest on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m.

The opening night of the summer concert series will feature music from Bobbie Lancaster as well as Rockology.

The evening will also include bounce houses, snow cones, face painting and food from Anthony's Pizza.

The show will kick off the 21st season of the free summer concert series, continuing at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday evening (except July 21 for the Putnam County Fair) for eight weeks.

* June 9: Mike VanRensselaer, Tad Robinson (Burgers & Such)

* June 16: Bridge 19, War Radio (Anthony's)

* June 23: Mike & the Voices, Blues Side Up (Burgers & Such)

* June 30: Fret Set, Covered Bridge Harmony (Anthony's)

* July 7: Chris Wurster, Saturday Shoes (Burgers & Such)

* July 14: Lexi Len and the Strangers, Gus Moon (Putnam Inn)

* July 28: John Bean, Dominique Rivers (Putnam Inn)
