DANVILLE -- The Cloverdale Jazz Band will perform Friday, July 31 at the Danville Music Palace as part of a fundraiser in support of the Hendricks Regional Health Foundation.

The foundation raises funds to enhance community health and patient comfort, safety and medical care.

Spectators are invited to bring lawn chairs and refreshments to the family-friendly summer concert at an outdoor venue located at 1225 W. CR 100 South, Danville.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per person. Children 12 and under will be admitted free.

The Cloverdale Jazz Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. with Joe Herr and the Blue Saloon Band at 8:30.

The venue was created by Dr. Jim and Melodie Richardson in support of local charities.

Dr. Richardson, an infectious disease physician with a practice in Danville, and Melodie, a registered nurse, created the open-air concert hall in 2014. The Richardsons will host three concerts this summer for three different nonprofit organizations.

To find the Danville Music Palace, drive one mile south on Mackey Road (off U.S. 36), then turn right on CR 100 South and follow the signs.
