Mary Lea (Grubb) Bault went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015. Praise the Lord, she is free of pain.

Mary began this earthly life in Stinesville. She was born on Sept. 28, 1943 to William Earl and Minnie V. Grubb.

Mary's childhood was spent on their farm in Stinesville with her parents and sisters, Jean Sayre, Evelyn Cramer and Sue Smith.

Mary and David Emmett Bault married July 21, 1968 in Spencer. To this union three children were born, Edna Renee Goodman, David William Bault and Rosemary Suzette Corrie.

Mary spent years before marriage and family working at the RCA factory in Bloomington.

After having children, Mary chose to stay home and began a daycare, and later she and David became foster parents. Numerous children called Mary "Mom."

David and Mary moved numerous times during their marriage, living in Bloomington, Mooresville, Martinsville, Cloverdale and finally Cataract before Mary moved what would be her final time on earth to the Residence at McCormick's Creek Nursing Home in Spencer after suffering a stroke Feb. 13, 2004. Even while in the nursing facility, Mary continued to move, changing rooms a couple times during her stay.

Mary's love of caring for children extended when her own children married and she was able to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary's family includes children, Renee (Tim) Goodman of Wolf Point, Mont., David (Kathy) Bault of Gosport, and Suzette (Dale) Corrie of Greencastle; grandchildren Kyle, Samantha and Michael of Wolf Point, Mont., Jacob and Phillip Gibson of Gosport, Melissa (Jerod) Hadden of Reelsville, Scott and Nathan Corrie of Greencastle; great-grandchildren Clay, Hunter, Emmie and Bailey Hadden of Reelsville, and Daisy Mae of Greencastle; as well as numerous friends and extended family who celebrate the life led and the release from pain that Mary now enjoys with our Lord.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, Spencer. Pastor Jerry Huber will officiate.

Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
