Arts and crafts fair set for Nov. 6, 7 at Fairgrounds
The Past Presidents Extension Homemakers Club will host its 37th annual arts and crafts fair on Nov. 6 and 7 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building.
Organizers have been increasing the number of vendors each year, and are looking forward to this year's event.
"It's going to be a pretty good sized festival, I think," club member Mary Harcourt said.
Among the items featured will be sewing, quilting, woodworking and a number of other crafts.
Food will also be served both on Friday evening and again on Saturday at lunch time.
The event takes place from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
"It's a fun time and everybody looks forward to it," Harcourt said. "I think it will be a good time."
