Cougars win home opener

ROACHDALE - The North Putnam girls' basketball team got off to a great start Wednesday against Eminence. The Cougars were on their game, beating Eminence 70-22.

According to NPHS coach Kevin Corsaro the Cougars played well on the glass and used good passing to earn the decisive victory.

North Putnam will play its county rival South Putnam on Thursday in Rochdale. Both teams are coming off opening home wins.
