New writers group being formed at the library

The Putnam County Public Library is forming a monthly writers group for adult writers in all genres from novice to novelist.

The group's first meeting is set for 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb 17 at the library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.

The group will discuss what participants would like from a writers group -- reading, critiques, assignments, etc.

Participants are encouraged to bring a short sample of their work to share.
