Dee Jeanine Moore

Dee Jeanine Moore, 42, of Greencastle, passed away in her home, March 13, 2016 surrounded by family and friends.

She was born Oct. 25, 1973 in South Bend to the late Delton Eugene Moore and Margaret Ruth Moore.

She was a 1992 graduate of Greencastle High School and also attended Ivy Tech Community College.

Dee loved writing poetry and art. She enjoyed collecting keys, Notre Dame, claddagh and fleur-de-lis symbols. She had a very caring heart and loved spending time with her family and friends and her beloved dog Diesel.

She is survived by her three brothers, Delton Moore of Greencastle, Doug Moore and Natasha Moore of Greencastle and David Mahan of Terre Haute; several nieces and nephews, Michaila Moore, Christine Moore, Delton Moore, Matthew Moore, Marci Graves Gemmecke, Miranda Jones, Tracie Mahan,

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delton Eugene Moore Sr. and Margaret Moore; brother Dan Graves; grandmothers Doris Webb and Mildred Roberts; and grandfathers John Graves and Delton Flowers Moore.

A celebration of Dee's life will be held on Saturday, April 16, family from 3-4 p.m. and friends from 4-6 p.m. at First Christian Church, 110 S. Indiana St., Greencastle. And a benefit dinner will be held at the Eagles Lodge on April 23 from 4:30-8:30 p.m. for $7 a meal

A formal service will begin at 5 p.m. at the same location.
