CMS boys' basketball players perform well at All-Star game

Cloverdale Middle School basketball players Mark Gill, Nolan Kelley and Kyle Thomas were selected to play in the Tri-State Middle School All-Star Game on April 17.

The boys joined players chosen from all over southern Indiana and Illinois and northern Kentucky, but were able to play together on the victorious South team.

Thomas led all scorers with 13 points, going 5-7 from the field and 3-3 on the 3-point line. He also contributed a block and an assist.

Kelley showed his versatility by posting two points, three assists, three rebounds and one steal.

Gill dominated the glass, collecting a game-high of nine rebounds and scoring three points. Kelley and Gill will move on to the 8th grade next year, while Thomas will move to 7th grade.
