Steven Ray Trent

Steven Ray Trent, 55, of Bainbridge, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Hendricks Regional Health.

He was born on July 2, 1960 to the late Melvin E. and Wendylene (Poynter) Trent.

On April 10, 1981 he married Regina Sue (Surface) Trent. She survives.

Steven graduated from North Putnam High School with the Class of 1980.

He worked at Roachdale Elementary School.

Steven enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, family reunions and spending time with his granddaughters. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Regina Trent, Bainbridge; daughter Jessica (Roger) Boller, Greencastle; two brothers, David (Susan) Trent, Roachdale, and Jeff (Ann) Trent Bainbridge; two granddaughters, Kiersten and Kailen; several aunts and uncles, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and father-in-law "Doc" Surface.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 30 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, Roachdale, with Pastor Alan Small officiating.

Steven will be laid to rest privately by his family in Bainbridge Cemetery.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in Steven's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
