Scorpion Protective Coatings and Scorpion Window Film celebrated its fifth annual customer appreciation day at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with the Crown Royal 400 at the Brickyard.

Scorpion entertained customers from all parts of the United States and Canada over the race weekend. Activities ranged from training on bed liner both in the classroom and in the spray booth, to window film installation. Customers also participated in a cookout and tour of Scorpion's World Headquarters in Cloverdale.

Saturday evening the group visited the newly opened Wasser Brewery in Greencastle, where it was treated to some freshly brewed beer and dinner.

Sunday started off fast and hot with a visit from NASCAR star Austin Dillon, driver of the No. 3 car for Richard Childress Racing. While the temperature outside was boiling, the Emerson Fittipaldi suite was comfortable as Dillon took questions for 30 minutes.

With Dillon and help from Richard Childress Racing, Scorpion was able to raise $4,500 from a silent auction that will go to the United Way of Putnam County.

Additionally, Scorpion would like to thank Jeff Van Horn of Van Horn Tint Shop, Austin Cravens and Matt Krysenski of RCR and NASCAR driver Cole Whitt (No. 98) and RTIC Coolers

Scorpion is a worldwide leader in truck bed liners and protective coatings and window film, located in Cloverdale. Scorpion is a family-owned and operated business since 1996 and continues to lead the way in truck bed liners and window film.
