Oktoberfest event set Saturday at St. Paul’s

The third annual Oktoberfest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Greencastle.

The Knights of Columbus-sponsored event is intended to bring the community and the parish together. The 4-11 p.m. Oktoberfest is open to the public.

A lot of the activity on tap at the 202 E. Washington St. church location is built around food and fun with activities scheduled both inside and outside St. Paul’s. Music and food are planned throughout the day.

A bounce house and face painting will be available with kids’ games scheduled from 4-8 p.m.

A raffle will feature such prizes as Indiana University basketball tickets, Purdue and Notre Dame football tickets, gift certificates, cash and more.

Pulltabs will be available for purchase. A poker booth and number wheel are also planned.

A beer garden will feature craft and domestic beers as well as wine. Another booth will provide desserts and more.
