Banner Graphic/Eric Bernsee Celebrating Christmas at the Area 30 Career Center Ivy Gallery restaurant means a tempting dessert cart heaped with a variety of pies and other delights distributed by culinary arts instructor Mary Anne Birt. Meanwhile, the main entree of the four-course meal, chicken broccoli pecan casserole, is presented to diners June Brattain (plaid jacket) and Marge Miller by servers Alissa Ritter (left) and Lauren Nichols of North Putnam High School, while Austin Greene (right) of Cloverdale gets ready to deliver another plate of goodness to a full house for the last Ivy Gallery lunch of 2016.

This program is amazing- teaching life and work skills and manners and respect all at the same time, which is hard to do these days!
