Everyday Patriot

Monday, January 16, 2017
Greencastle Police Capt. Charles Inman (center) receives the Patriot Award from the Department of Defense, represented by Clyde Stringer (second from left), for being a loyal supporter of the guard and reserve forces. He was nominated for the award by Officer Elsiana Crosby (second from right). “He is my supervisor on night shift,” Crosby said. “He is always willing to work with my drill days as well as my AT days. He utilizes my service when dealing with soldiers in our community and has even sent me to training for ‘Responding to Officers and Veterans with PTSD.’” Also on hand for the ceremony are Greencastle Police Chief Tom Sutherlin (left) and Greencastle Assistant Chief Brian Hopkins (right).
