Book signing set for Saturday by Lemon
DePauw University Professor of Economics and Management Gary D. Lemon will conduct a book signing Saturday, May 20 for his new investment guide, “Savvy Investing: Strategy for Successful Investing.”
Lemon, who made his first investment in the stock market as a 19-year-old college student, will be signing copies of the book from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on the second floor of Starbucks in Greencastle.
Books will be available for purchase at a price of $20 (which includes sales tax).
Released by Dog Ear Publishing, “Savvy Investing” shares how to avoid mistakes and do well in the stock market. He advises, “Keep costs low and allocate your money wisely between risky and less-risky assets.”
The book has been named one of the 75 best investments books by valueinsiders at Amazon.com and was listed as 38th on the Goodreads.com list of Best Core Investment Books.
Lemon also chairs an investment committee that oversees billions of dollars in scores of mutual funds. He has conducted investment seminars and helped individuals construct investment portfolios.
