Steve Snyder Trio to play Jazz at the Duck Thursday

The Steve Snyder Trio will play Thursday, Sept. 14, at 8:30 p.m. in The Fluttering Duck, 2 W. Seminary St.

The band features Steve Snyder playing Hammond organ with guitarist Joel Tucker and drummer Chris Parker. The band will play two sets of soul/straight ahead jazz with funky grooves drenched in the blues, as well as ballads and standards.

The band members are inspired by artists like Jimmy Smith, Larry Young, Wes Montgomery and Grant Green.

There is no cover charge.
