Charlotta Kay Oliphant, 71, of Bloomfield, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born Feb. 6, 1946 in Linton, she was the daughter of Bill and Minnie (Bingham) Sullivan.

Kay worked at Bloomfield State Bank. She was the manager of the South Plaza Branch and worked for Flower's by Janice.

She was a member of Sandborn Baptist Church and attended Bloomfield First Christian Church.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Tom Oliphant of Bloomfield; her children, Todd (Karen) Smith of Ohio, Jeff (Nancy) Oliphant of Carmel and Jill (Matt) Fougerousse; her grandchildren, Chris (Lauren) Smith, Brock (Jennie) Smith, Samantha (Matt) Cox, Sam Oliphant, Abby Oliphant, Sophie Oliphant, Libbi Fougerouss and Kip Fougerousse; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Rita Allen of Cloverdale; two brother-in-laws, Sonny Cox and Bill Kennedy; and four special friends, Suzie Noel, Rosemary McPheeters, Crystal Goodpaster and Janice Walker.

Kay was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera Cox and Martha Kennedy; one brother, Jerry Sullivan; a great-granddaughter, Jade Smith; and her parents.

Friends may call from 4-8 pm. on Saturday, Sept. 23 and from 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 24 until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home, Bloomfield.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home, Bloomfield, with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Kay's name.
