Observe the moon at PCPL

Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Visit the Putnam County Public Library Friday, Sept. 29 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. for International Observe the Moon Night (InOMN).

All adults can enjoy moon viewing via a Celestron telescope, and the more nimble can crawl into the STAR LAB planetarium. Children’s craft and project stations will make moon journals, learn about moon craters and more. Moon-themed snacks will be served.

The Celestron telescope and STAR LAB planetarium are courtesy of Dr. Mary Kertzman, DePauw University professor of physics and astronomy, who will be present with her students to guide and inform attendees.
