Pedestrian struck and killed on I-70 near Mooresville exit

The Indiana State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian that was struck and killed on Interstate 70 Friday night in Hendricks County.

Troopers were still on the scene at midnight trying to determine the facts surrounding the accident that has claimed the life of an individual that was reported walking along the eastbound lanes of I-70 near the 59.8-mile marker around 10:19 p.m. Friday.

The victim has been identified as Nicole Thomas-Kirch, 42, reportedly of Greenwood.
