Quilts of Valor program Saturday at Lifespring Church

The One Stitch at a Time Purdue Extension Quilt Club will honor living local veterans on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at the Life Spring Church, located on U.S. 36, a half-mile east of the intersection of U.S. 231 and 36.

The program follows the Quilts of Valor guidelines and presents quilts to living veterans.

Speaker for the event will be Dave Byrdwell of Dave’s Pizza in Danville who is a huge supporter of American servicemen and women.

The public is invited.
