Boys

Cascade (3-5) at Greencastle (3-4)

The coaches: Chris DuBois is in his 14th year at Cascade. Bryce Rector is in his second year at Greencastle.

Season recap: Cascade has gone 2-2 since a 1-3 start. Greencastle has lost three straight games after a 3-1 start.

Per-game averages: Offense – Cascade 46.3, Greencastle 52.9. Defense – Cascade 61.8, Greencastle 54.3.

The history: Cascade won 64-56 at Clayton last year and has a 16-14 series record over the past 30 years.

Key players: Dalton DuBois averages 17.8 points per game and is the only Cadet scoring in double figures. Colin York averages 22.0 points per game to lead Greencastle, and had a career high of 40 on Saturday night. Brody Whitaker averages 11.7 and Gavin Bollman averages 10.1.

Greencastle (9-3) at Cloverdale (9-2)

The coaches: Bradley Key is in his ninth year at Greencastle. Matthew Langdon is in his seventh year at Cloverdale.

Season recap: Greencastle has won nine straight games since starting 0-3. Two of its three losses came to teams ranked in the Class 3A top 10. Cloverdale lost 55-50 to South Putnam in the county tournament semifinals and 49-36 at Indian Creek.

Opponents’ records: Greencastle 75-72, Cloverdale 50-83.

Per-game averages: Offense – Greencastle 46.1, Cloverdale 63.9. Defense – Greencastle 40.8, Cloverdale 35.2.

The history: Greencastle won 60-37 on its homecourt last year and has won 20 of the past 24 meetings.

Key players: Jalyn Duff averages 12.3 points per game to lead the Tiger Cubs, while Rose White adds 10.5 points and 8.5 rebounds. Tori Combs averages 16.0 points and 13.4 rebounds to lead the Clovers. Sammie Shrum adds 13.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

North Putnam (4-8) at Riverton Parke (5-6)

The coaches: Jarrod Duff is in his second year at North Putnam.

Season recap: North Putnam has lost seven of its last eight games since a 2-2 start. Riverton Parke had won three straight games until a 48-34 loss to Rockville on Thursday.

Opponents’ records: North Putnam 76-68, Riverton Parke 59-76.

Per-game averages: Offense – NP 28.3, RP 40.3. Defense – NP 46.5, RP 43.0.

The history: Riverton Parke won 59-13 at Bainbridge last year, and has won six of the last seven meetings between the teams.
