Spots still available for next Old Trail Inn dinner

A few seats remain for the next scheduled Sunday dinner at the Putnam County Museum featuring the traditional menu of the historic Old Trail Inn.

Putnam County Museum Director Lisa Mock said the Jan. 28 dinner will feature the fried chicken and swiss steak menu made famous by the former Putnamville landmark. Serving begins promptly at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $20 each and can be reserved by calling 653-8419. This is a reservations-only event.

Meanwhile, Mock also announced that the museum’s February mystery dinner is sold out.

Names, however, are being taken for those interested in the next mystery dinner, which will be this spring at a date and time yet to be announced.
