Monday, April 30, 2018

With the change to voting centers for the upcoming primary election A Cab and the Greencastle League of Women Voters have joined together to offer free rides to a voting center on Election Day, May 8 while the polls are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

While not required, A Cab recommends making reservations for the free service by calling 720-4050 before election day.

“We are excited about our partnership with A Cab,” Greencastle League of Women Voters representative Leslie Hanson said. “We hope it will encourage people to get out and vote on the eighth.”

David Evens, owner and operator of A Cab in Greencastle, is proud to offer the service to local voters.

“There is absolutely no reason to not vote with free cab rides countywide,” Evens said.
