Junior L. Stringer

Junior L. Stringer, 90, Coatesville, passed away Thursday evening, July 5, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Morgan County on May 2, 1928 the son of Jewell G. and R. Lucille Buis Stringer.

He was a farmer for several years and also drove a truck for 45 years. He had also driven a school bus for the Danville School Corporation.

He and wife Rilla did a lot of traveling across the country in their RV. They spent a lot of time camping at his son, Dale's, in Florida.

Junior is survived by his wife of 21 years, Rilla Stringer; children Sharon (Mike) Bryan Doub, North Salem, Dale (Lisa) Stringer, Auburndale, Fla., Glen (Kim) Stringer, Fillmore, and Leasa (Bryce) Seemann Smith, Belle Union; stepdaughter Lynn (Jim) Ellett, Coatesville; grandchildren Brad Bryan, Stacy Bryan Keister, Amy Riddle, Luke and Justin Seemann; step-grandchildren Mandy Duncan and Josh Ellett; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ray (Judy) Stringer, Florida.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Harold Stringer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, July 9 at Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville. Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
