Betsy Jo O'Hair

Betsy Jo O'Hair, 58, of Cloverdale, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She was born Aug. 14, 1959 in Anderson, the daughter of Richard and Sherrill (Morris) Benson.

She was a 1977 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Betsy was a fun loving and caring person.

She had provided childcare in her home for several years, had recently worked at The Waters of Greencastle nursing home for seven years and previously at Value City Furniture's Merrillville and Castleton locations.

She is survived by her husband, David O'Hair; daughters Kelly (husband Mathew) Cox, Erica Porter and Brittany Bartlett; her mother, Sherrill Benson; brothers Brad (wife Debbie) Benson, Brian (wife Nancy) Benson and Barry (wife Stephanie) Benson; stepdaughter Jill (husband Jamey) Cook; and grandson Michael O'Hair.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at Brick Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Thursday until time of service at the funeral home.
