Eagles fall 47-14 at Sullivan

SULLIVAN — South Putnam lost its fifth straight game Friday night, falling 47-14 to Sullivan.

The Eagles drop to 2-5 and 0-4 in the WIC West football standings.

After an early Sullivan score, the Eagles were able to draw even at 6-6 in the first quarter.

It was all Arrows after that, as they outscored South Putnam 34-0 for the remainder of the half for a 40-6 halftime lead.

Sullivan quarterback Jack Conner threw for 254 yards and six touchdowns.

The Eagles travel to Northview Friday night to take on the Knights, who have already wrapped up the WIC West title.
