Monday, October 1, 2018

Greencastle High School’s boys’ basketball program will host a shooting camp from Oct. 8-10.

The camp is for boys in grades 1-8 and will take place in McAnally Center.

Boys in grades 1-4 will receive instruction from 6-7:15 p.m. each night, while boys in grades 5-8 will go from 7:30-8:45 p.m.

Cost is $30 per player, which includes a basketball.

The camp will be conducted by varsity coach Bryce Rector and assistants Rob York, Craig Whitaker and Parker Aul as well as members of this year’s Tiger Cub team.

Points of emphasis are the fundamentals of shooting, including correct form and footwork. Daily contests will take place with prizes to be awarded.

Registration forms will be distributed to students at their schools, and are also available in the GHS main office. Forms and payment may be turned in on the night of the camp.
