Indiana 4-H Leadership Summit slated Nov. 10

Information is now available for the Indiana 4-H Leadership Summit, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10 at the 502 East Event Centre in Carmel.

Registration will be completed via Cvent for 4-H members, adult volunteers, general public and Extension staff who will be attending the program. The link to the Cvent registration site is: http://www.cvent.com/d/wbqjg4 where payment may be made via credit/debit card. Registration is will close on Oct. 22. The registration fee for the day’s program will be $30 per person, which provides for lunch and all of the day’s activities.

County Extension Offices may register their 4-H members, volunteers and staff who wish to attend the Summit via Cvent, or individuals may register themselves. The Putnam 4-H Council will assist with the cost for any Putnam 4-H volunteer or member.

All 4-H volunteers who will be recognized at the summit for their tenure will be contacted directly by the State 4-H Office. They will have the opportunity to register themselves (complimentary as award winners) and pay for their guests to attend. They will complete this registration via the State 4-H Office.

Highlights of the Indiana 4-H Leadership Summit include four breakout session opportunities, allowing participants to select from four to five concurrent sessions offered at each time slot.

The educational program schedule includes topics like Ages and Stages, Civic Engagement, Fun Club Activities, Animal Science, Experiential Learning, Engineering Technology, Workforce Preparation, Out of County Experiences and Healthy Living.

Additionally the Indiana 4-H Foundation Accomplishment Scholarship Luncheon and Indiana 4-H Volunteer Awards of Excellence presentations, and 4-H Tenured Volunteer Recognition will occur.

A general session focused on inclusivity, encouraging participants to welcome all youth to Indiana 4-H is also on the agenda.
